OK most can remember at least one teacher who thought his/her subject was the most important and any student who can't get is a complete waste. But Snape Is more than the teacher from hell.
We know that there was some friction between James and Severus. But Harry's father did save snapes life
Snape was a Death eater then turned to help Dumbledore...Why?
Dumbledore trusted Snape. Big mistake!
So what is the big secret that explains Snape actions?
We will find out in a year or so but till then What do you think

I halfway think that Snape will end up being a hero in the end. We know Dumbledore used Snape as a mole in the Death Eaters. I have wondered if maybe what happened to Dumbledore wasn't some part of a bigger plan by him, ala Obi Wan Kenobi dying at Vader's hands to help Luke find his way. Maybe Dumbledore's fate is actually something meant to get Snape back in with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and the Deatheaters? We will just have to wait a while longer to see how this plays out.

I agree, but i think there is more. I think Snape was in love with Lily Evans-Potter. We know lily was well liked, the sweethart of Hogwarts. And Lily was good at Potions like snape. Can you imagiane seeing the eyes of your first love looking at you from the face of your worst enemy? well about nine months to go

Oh, I am sure he was in love with her. I need to re-read the books, but I thought there was something that referred to that in one of them, maybe Prisoner of Azkaban?

Actualy it was Prof Lupin Who hinted at it. Saying That Lily was not Judgemental and treated people the same. Snape has always played it close to the cloak.... maybe he was in love with James Seriusly maybe he was close to RAB aka Rubius Black
